There has been a wedding...

...And it was mine!!!

Where do I start? I guess first let me apologize. It has been a few crazy weeks. But the crazy has died down. The wedding was a blast and my husband, yep husband, husband, husband.. one more time and you'll believe me? HUSBAND and I are in newlywed bliss, while living everyday the same as we did before the wedding. Only now we say husband and wife A LOT.

The weekend went to quickly. And I loved every second of it; we started the festivities on Thursday October 22,2015. My in-laws live in florida, We wanted to have a less formal welcome to PA, lets all get to know each other a little better before the wedding party. It was a lot of fun, it started the weekend off on the right foot. We were all comfortable in each others company and there was no awkwardness ( is that a word? it is now..). My uncle was in town for our wedding also. Thursday was a hit and like i said started the weekend off on a good foot.

Friday we got off to a poor start. The battery in my car died, and we were running behind. It all worked out. We jumped the car, Bret was able to get to his parents and we were able to get to the venue to decorate. It turned the day around. Once we were done decorating i had a super migraine which was awesome. And went to get our toes done. Fast forward 2 hours and a cat nap we had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  Grabbed some pictures before we all left.

Now as you all know,  I am a proud mother to the most wonderful little boy in the entire world. My son, Mr, Magoo decided to wake up at 4:30 the morning of my wedding. Yep, 4:30. I was ready to go. I wrote out my vows I made sure all the bags were packed and then we were on our way. To be honest the day TOOK FOREVER, until it didn't anymore. We stopped to get my flowers and headed to my best friends hotel room to get ready.

It was good times, laughs and a calming relaxing place to be before my wedding. (These are just randoms from before during and after)
Check Nicole out at http://honestfoxblog.blogspot.com/ tell her I sent you

We had a trolley, we had fun, we cried a little and laughed a lot!

Bret walked Magoo down the Aisle

My Big Brother (I dont know waht I would do without him) walked me down the aisle...

Then we said I do, and of course kissed!!

From there it was picture time and our photographers were amazing! I loved them. there was a photo booth and booze. We all had a great time... We raised the bar pretty high as far as weddings go. We planned a great party!

I had the best wedding, it was more than I could have ever imagined it to be. And now I am married to my best friend. I am going sign off with one of my favorite pictures of the night. It was impromptu, we were cleaning up and there was whistling and yelling.....Mam would have been proud....

(Im old and married now.. its still sinking in)
Until Next Time....

Wedding DIY...

...Signature board.

We were going to go with a board from peachwick, it was burlap with a tree. Now our theme is rustic country so I though that would be perfect. However after thinking about it we decided on something a little more us. I am very into monograms especially with my new initials. I can't wait to have a ton of "G" stuff. This is what I am thinking for our wall with our signature board. Surrounded by our wedding pictures and  pictures of our family. I love pictures

I purchased a wood letter G from the A.C. Moore. From there I also bought Navy Blue paint. Now i consider myself pretty crafty which is why i thought this would be a good idea.

Boy was I RIGHT. I absolutely love our signature board,of course the first thing i did was paint the wood navy blue. It only took one coat to cover the letter to the shade I wanted,.

(Photo from pinterest)

I let the blue dry and then I had burlap ad lace trim left over from our save the dates. So I used that to cover the edges.
Before

After

I cant wait for everyone to sign it. It is going to look so good.

We only have 24 days left!!

Until Next Time

Wedding planning is a breeze....

....With a little elbow grease, glue sticks and patience. Praise Zeus we are almost done with the glue sticks. my fingers cant handle any more

Our Wedding:
When : October 24,2015
Time:3:00 pm
Location: Pennsylvania
Season: Autumn
Theme: Country Rustic
Colors: Navy Blue, Champagne, Burlap and Lace.

There you have the basics, now for this chapter in Wedding Wednesday I wanted to show you what we are making. I will try my very best to include what we are using for each  and the approximate time it took us for them. I am not a professional and My camera is still in a box. However, we will make this work. I promise.

The first thing that is being made are the Center Pieces:

We went to the dollar store and got 18 glass vases. and 36 stemless wine glasses. My mom is having trees and bushes removed from her yard so the sticks were free. The burlap is used to adhere to the vase. First we glued the burlap to the vase, from there we had the task to glue the sticks to the burlap. As we glued the stick the burlap also stuck to the glass securing it tighter.  Once the sticks were glued around the entire vase they were done. They are going to have a light up branch inside (they were given to me from a friend, Not sure where she got them from. I will find out and update)

Final look:

There are two stemless wine glasses that go on the sides of the vases. They are for the softer feminine look. Inside the glass will be a led candle.

For the side glasses we also got them from the dollar store. We got the lace from A.C Moore (it was $1.00. Couldn't beat that!)

Very simple to make, cut the lace to fit around the middle of the glass. Once you have the piece cut glue it on. I put the glue directly on the lace and attached that way.

Finished look:

Together they look amazing....

I absolutely can not wait for our wedding. It is going to be a great day. We are 31 days away!!!(I just peed a little) Its getting so real now. (And I'm so nervous, but I don't know why!)

As Always, Until Next Time...

Wedding Wednesday... what do we have planned??

So first and foremost I already told you I suck at this blogging thing. Which is why if you are counting for the week we are missing Tuesday. Yep I didn't have anything for Tuesday, I didn't know what to blog about didn't have a theme or idea or anything so I went to bed. Case Closed nothing too special about why there wasn't a blog I was just tired.

And Right now I should be  am working my second job... well i guess this is my only job at his point. But I'm doing that and decided what the hell. We need a Wedding Wednesday (insert cheers and applause here)

Our wedding....Is still going to be outside, still going to be in October and still going to be in Pennsylvania. So that's all still happening. The last Wedding Wednesday I did about plans was literally over a year and a half ago. And that's all fine and dandy however everything has changed.

So here goes....

Our wedding is going to be on Saturday October 24th 2015 at 2:30 in the afternoon, We are going to be getting married in one of two places either on a golf Course or in the Barn at our venue. The venue is a swim club that has different locations at said swim club that we will be able to use. The Reception will be in the same place. Okay so the Reception is in what is called the Paddock Room at Mermaid Lake in Blue Bell PA. They have a 9 hole golf course and a barn . So we have the Reception site nailed down. but we are waiting on the exact ceremony location. Pretty much just repeated what I just said but its that important i said it twice.

Bret will be staying with his guys at a hotel the nigh before and I will be at my mommy's house with my Maid of Honor and any bridesmaids that wanna come hang out. And where i get ready the morning before is still in the air. Hey we have 3ish months to get it together.

Our wedding colors are still Navy blue, Cream, champagne and now also Burlap and Lace.. Does that count as a color or a theme? I'm not sure but that's what it is. I have a ton of ideas for what I want to do and know how to do them and just need the funds to help with making the ideas a reality.

I have my dress, its fantastic looks something like this

Im Kidding.....Or am I??

No I cant describe the dress because Bret reads this and hes not allowed to know what it looks like. Blame him not me.

Magoo will be walking down the aisle with Bret at the beginning and Bret and his guys will all be in gray tuxes. Bret will also wear champagne and the guys Navy Blue ties and such.

Our flowers will be Calla Lilies with some sore of Blue flower.

My goodness that is a TON of information. See I skip a day and then unleash the flood gates the next day.

Well there you have it. Most of what is planned for the big day. I will keep some stuff quiet so that I have more to blog about and you have more to read about.

Until next time.. Do Good Things!
